Our History
2003
We held our Fifth Conference (AASSA/Tri) with the attendance of 38 BM’s in Miami; our personal relations became stronger this year. Ron Everett (Past President of ASBOI) and Anne Miller (Excecutive Director), addressed to us on “Friendly and Valuable Financial Reports” and “The BM as a Leader”. “Safety and Security” by Carlos Patiño; “A Comprehensive Approach to Budgeting” by José C. Cardozo; “Human Resources” by David Tully; “Our Role in ASBOI” by Gonzalo Luna, who had attended the ASBOI Conference in Charlotte (NC) with Patricia Zaldivar and Carlos Patiño in October 2002. Trina Pulliam (Trainnovations) talked to Administrative Assistants on Problem Solving. Patricia Mrin had an active role on those sessions. Rick Gray and Lorraine Jimenez were significant sponsors. As usual, Bill Scotti (REO) was present.
