Our 11th. Annual Conference was held at Marriott Dadeland, and believe it or not, 45 Business Managers of Latin America Schools attended.
Almost the whole world had to face a severe financial and economic crisis that started in USA due to sub-prime mortgage loans from Banks. Apparently it did not seriously affected our Schools finances and our commitment with AASSA & LAASBO.
The Speaker, Phil Gardiner enriched us with concepts on Strategies for Dramatic Times.

The global financial crisis that started at the United States, because of the loss of confidence by investors in the value of securitized mortgages, had an enormous rebound on Latin American Schools. One of the aims of the 2009 Annual Laasbo Conference was to talk about this international problem and try to find out the way to survive to this crisis.. |
